But the American University of Pediatrics recommends confronting routine sleeping in sitting devices for infants. Using machine rubber seats for slumber in a "non-traveling context" may pose a risk to babies, the report authors added.
It's not completely clear why machine seats aren't the all-time place when the child is out of the automobile and sleeping, Colvin said.
